Alexandra Kobalenko has been in the photography industry since she put herself through college by working at a camera store. Since then, she been a photographer, Photoshop artist and even a model, giving her the rare distinction of having both shot magazine covers and appeared on them. Her wilderness and adventure imagery has been published in National Geographic Traveler, Canadian Geographic, Geo, The New York Times and other leading publications. She lives with her husband in the Canadian Rockies, but specializes in shooting the Arctic. She does not like the cold.
